how living around the web changed my perceptions. Was telling a client today about Amazon Web Services when he asked me since when have they been around, and found my self saying "a long time ago, i think 2006..." he laughed at how 2006 was a long time ago!! I guess in terms of web technology it is a long time ago!

What if you enter into a super market, a big department store, electronic shop...etc and you are given a handheld device with ability to scan bar codes off products you are browsing through. Using the device you can check ratings, reviews, store statistics to help you decide to buy a product over another. I am just amazed that I haven't seen this implemented anywhere yet! Any one has seen this please speak out!
