One of Jordan's unofficial classification of cafes is that it's either a "Cafe" or a "Gahweh" Cafe being a coffee place for for both females and males, and a gahweh is a cafe for guys only... how does a gahweh become a gahweh, other than the decoration.. I mean, I know some good places with nice decor, but it's classified as a "Shabab only" cafe! how come?

Do you ever go to a coffee shop alone? No friends no nothing? Why? what do you do? I sometimes go and just look around, watch people study them, is that considered rude?

I heard about a Jazz pub or café here in Jordan, but no one seems to know where it is, or if it’s for real or just a hoax. Who knows anything about it?
