tip If you have auto complete turned on when browsing the internet how do you remove that option or if not the option how do you delete previous entries? So that when you use a search box your old searches dont come up or can you edit them at all?

I know how you can delete your past form data history, but I don't know how disable it.

In internet explorer (7.0) select Tools>Internet Options then select Delete under Browsing history. In the new window select "Delete forms" and it will prompt you to confirm deleting all form data.

In Firefox, select Tools>Clear Private Data, then check the "Saved Forms and Search History".
