you use a key word I think razano... SAFE the feeling of safety and security that you knwo the trust you have will not be breached is who you tell a secret to.
What are secrets... things you dont want the world to know I guess.
Close friends, I have a couple whom I can tell things I find it hard to tell to my self when I am alone. I feel safe with them.
Great Question Salma... Been thinking about it since you've posted it... A secret, I think, is any piece of information that needs to be handled with care, that is if it reaches the wrong recipient the outcome can be undesirable. It can be as small as organizing a surprise party for some one's birthday or it can be as grand as information that can put some one's life in danger.
Certain people I trust with most my secrets.. On the other hand, thee are some secrets of mine no one knows about! xD

thats why its different ppl with different things... I think the key here is to keep things compartmentalized. Work secrets get told to ppl who have nothing to do with your work. Love or freindship to those in other circles that dont connect personal - and these are the most difficult ... to the ones that are closest to you... the key is to make sure they dont all meet or compare notes lol
Good for you that you have people for differnet secrets. I personally have been burnt so many times, it is getting harder and harder to trust...
depends on the secret... diffrent ppl for different things... never put all your eggs in one basket kind thing...
