Beyond the hilarious side of this incident comes a very sad story for me. This journalist, who must have attended 10s or 100s of these press conferences over his professional life just couldn't take it anymore and just snapped. I don't want my despair, our despair to result in people snapping all of the sudden and doing crazy and dangerous things. We must communicate that despair, act on it and relief it every day.

Its defeintly a strong note to end his presidency with and a unique one.

On one hand I want to laugh on the other it is sad like Kurt said!

This is so incredibly sad. I am angry at Bush's indifference; the world's indifference. Ah. I am sorry.

Must be the weirdest moment of his presidency. A very rooted Arab response, throwing the shoes. "bel kundara" Anyone agrees?
