home can be a querencia, and a querencia and be one's home.

and depending on where your querencia is, thats where you call "home" =)

after traveling so long i think home is very important... its gives you a feeling of being settled. on my last trip all i could think of was home and to me that meant my people, my city, home, my pillow...even the crap and the work that comes with it. I wanted the comforts of familiar surroundings.

And its good to be home!

i do not think we need a place to call home. i think a home is any place that makes you feel safe and significant. It may also be a place where you have a friend, family, work. It may even be in your mind. But i think most importantly is that a home is where you feel safe in being and since most of us do not have this place and still seem to survive, then perhaps "home" is just a notion fabricated to make us compromise our well being.

I guess we do, comes from our need to belong and feel safe somewhere. Home could mean lots of things, a person, a town, a group of people, a neighbourhood...etc.
