Is it me or do I see a lot of repetitive copying going on in the Ammani "art-scene", most times I go to see art exhibitions I am slightly disappointed because its touted as fresh hip young new, and winds up being something tired borrowed and old. I mean imatation is the sincerest form of flattery but when the artists have an ego the size of the amman gates well... I just kind of get disappointed? A friend of mine said it well, that Jordan never really had an interest in art, and that in order for it to grow there has to be the imatation which hopefully develops into something original and newish.
O and if I have to see yet another short film with someone telling us how when they were a child... I will bitch slap the director into an alternate universe! :-)
