If it were that simple then people would not follow politicians, there must be something else to it. It might have to do with identity and how that is created, or with the thinking that they are right and others are wrong. i really don't know, but this is an issue to discuss, because the US, Italy, and other countries also have politicians that are continuously mistreating their people and the trust they put in them. The question perhaps is: why are there politicians and individuals who do our business for us?
