tip Well, This is something that I haven't learned today, but it seems that it is today that I keep finding it rewarding: You can research something by start writing about it. Don't wait until you generate all the ideas about it. No! start writing, and you will start discovering the concepts that make that subject, how they are connected, what is important, what is the core, what is peripheral, or how that subject needs to be looked at from a certain point of view or a different angle. So, if you have an idea, just start writing about it, and it will work.

I believe that to be true with me as well, start doing something about the idea and you will have the details come to you as you go.

When i was writing my thesis i felt i wanted to have all the information then right. But i think you are right, it worked better when i read a little then wrote a little, and so on. I guess we should just do the deed we want to do and see where it all goes!
