I didn't have the chance to thank you all guys for your comments, thank you, and again I'm really sorry, it was a quick re action to the current events but now I can think differently because of your comments.

Mamod... first in questler I think and my experince so far is you can say what you want, and we all have different opinions thats why we are here.

As for being cowards, I would say that is a strong statetment. I think if anything we have become so accustomed to seeing this news it no longer affects us. Like Alma said we can affect change and it is up to us to do so.

I quote Ghandi "Be the change you want to see in the world." Do the things you think will be a positive impact on the situation and propogate that even if it just sending a letter of support, or donating blood. if we all do small things to help, then we have contributed to doing a big thing. And that my friend will make all the difference.

An old saying  goes: It has to get much much worse before it can start the slow road to improvement...

Nothing comes of nothing and as long as we Arabs get caught up in futile meaningless inner bickering we will be controlled by forces outside our realm of influence, and yes we arabs as a whole are cowards but then someone has to be...

The Arab oil countries could've done something about it but alas everyone was to busy outfitting their houses and planes with golden toilet seats to care, and when they finally realised what was going on the crap had already hit the fan, but then that is what the western world wanted, "Divide and concquer!".

What we should and should not say are all very relative. I am very sorry about what is happening in Gaza; it is incomprehensible. We live in a strange world. But if it helps any to know that life changes, the world will one day become different, and that there are people in the world around you that believe in you and your ability to affect change.

I'm really sorry, this morning my emotions totally tookover my brain after watching the news about Palestine which led me to say that, I'm sorry if this offended any one, maybe I shouldn't say that.

Why what did you or didnt you do that makes you say such a thing?
