"yes she was fighting a fight that was not hers".. not only that, she came from a culture that feed with lies about the Palestinian issue, imagine a British fighting with the Irish for the independence of N. Ireland.. it's actually bigger then that, I seriously wouldn't know much Palestinians who would bother to go to... let's say southern Thailand to help them against the Thai occupation or willing to die for it... I actually don't know much who know about what's going on down there to say the lest!.. I hope I made my point
I think that we should also remember others who die senslessly everyday all over the world.
Rachel's death was cruel and sensless as is the death of all other palestinians who have died in this conflict and occupation. The fact that she is an American does not give more value to her death. yes she was fighting a fight that was not hers. But in a sense any injustice doen to anyone in the world is one that is done to all.
