tip Is it true you can not take antibiotics and alcohol at the same time? and if so why not?

yea , in some antibiotics ,

for ex. if use take flagyl then drink any amount of alcohol , u'll have nausea and vomiting

but always read the inst. that come with the AB

LOL you can't take alcohol no matter what, either with antibiotics or without them :P

The antibiotics kills everything in your body of living organisms (that's why you should eat yoghurt while taking a course of antibiotics.

The reason alcohol shouldn't be mixed with anitbiotics is that there might be complications and certain organ damage (i.e. Kidney & liver problems) but mainly alcohol diminishes the effect of the antibiotics making ineffectual.
