I read all sorts of things, and I watch the most racist radicals on Fox and read to right wing bloggers.. so from my said I do see both sides.. but if you wanna ease your mind, sure, ignorance is a bliss after all..

I don't really insult people (even in real life) unless they insult me 1st..

and the next time when your watching or reading movies and books about conspiracy theories; “the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist”.. enjoy your bliss..

Rupert Murdoch sign me up! Fox News what a blast. ARD ZDf RTL. The elders of Zion. Hmmm when I said varied I truly meant it, but all I can say is to quote Bette Midler (And now I am being bad, she's jewish): Why Bother!

That's it! Why bother discussing things at all, so let's agree to disagree because as I mentioned before the truth is subjective I know my truth and it doesn't swing along with yours Ghassan and I think we could easily have arguements about anything. So let's leave it at that.

Or shall we enforce yet another stereotype and stoop to personal insults and such, because if we look at all the forums where we arabs like to vent our emotions it does get rather personal, down and dirty.

So that's my 2 cents (and after working in television and print media for more than 20 years, I think that entitles me to chime in on something like that). Keep your conspiracies I have had and seen enough of them to last me a lifetime.

"That is my right and not a conspiracy".. I'm not saying you're part of a conspiracy, you actually have to be smart to do that :)

I qoute myself:

"study the facts, compare it to reality.. and sure, listen to what both parties had to say, and then think subjectively with an open mind.."

Ghassan...

1- please dont call me honey... you dont even know me.

2- You ask us not to respond in anger ... re - read your post and tell me if it is not in anger?

3- There are differences of opnion and we respect that. I believe in the reality we live in and working with the dynamics at present. I respect your opnion but I dont agree with it. That is my right and not a conspiracy.

4- Finally, pleasse dont presume that I am not well read either. I not only read I also like to use my brain and assess what I read.

:D.. how typical, the simplest solutions is always the worst solution.. being realistic, well being realistic involves know what reality is honey.. so instead of actually reading the books (and the counter books), studding the facts, and arguing with logic.. you'll just ease your mind and say hey man, lets relax and get realistic..I think this is what the apes did, they got realistic... while human evoluted!

If all scientists and inventors tried to be your type of REALISTIC, then it would defiantly be a different world today.. and btw, if you bothered to read history, there was a bigger empires then Israel.. and they were gone, THAT'S REALITY!

"and varied than yours".. I really don't think so Walid, although I read only in English and Arabic but it includes a lot of translated books from different languages, you don't have to know 7 different languages to read all these books, and fyi, I've been reading books on philosophy, history, politics since I learned to crawl.. so don't assume things that would make an ass out of you (as you said)...

"And if you read what I said carefully before attempting to answer it".. I did dear, I always do, once again assumptions, assumptions..

Here’s the thing:

1)Conspiracies is a fact of life, if you look around you without being pre-judgmental you can find even kids do it to each other sometimes (I remember we used to conspire on other kids in 1st grade!), so not all conspiracies are the x-files, or area 51.. you have to be realistic (I mean the real realistic.. not the stupid Arabic type!) study the facts, compare it to reality.. and sure, listen to what both parties had to say, and then think subjectively with an open mind.. without saying BS's like: no way this is true, this is just a conspiracy theory, BE REALISTIC, you all just an anti-Semitic racists,.. etc (which is the real broken record I might say)..

2) This is (the Jewish monopoly over media, money and politics) is the elephant in the room, so at least try to be informed about it, even if you can’t (or won’t) do any thing about it!

I don't know what your age is you're talking about, I'm 32 and still alive and kicking! when people stop thinking their as good as dead.. I think, therefore I am..

So once again, I suggest before you jump on your keyboard to write a response out of anger, try to actually spend a little effort and time and read the damn book, the think about Henry Ford that he's talking about personal experience happened to him with the Jewish lobby in the states.. and when you finished it contact me and I'll give you more books that should be easily found, or I'll actually make you a copy and delivered it to you personally ;)

Just a thought...

Someone is making ssumptions here Ghassan and its you, typical... When someone goes against what you believe of course they are brain-washed by the zionist controlled media. Please... You are starting to sound like a CD stuck on repeat (not intending to insult as I just an observation).

Now let me assume (at the risk of making an Ass out of U & Me) things too. I watch & read and research from several sources, and not only in english, try french danish german italian spanish swedish and norwegian, I also read dutch, so lets say my platfrom might be a bit further reaching & and varied than yours. But then again I am making an assumption not knowing what you do and what your field of expertise is...

And if you read what I said carefully before attempting to answer it, you would realise that what I was saying is beware the conspiracy theory shouting BECAUSE when the REAL thing comes along you will NOT be able recognise it, and what you said about me turning my head, well you might be right on that aspect, because of aforesaid "conspiracy shouters/theorists", at my age you get sick and tired of hearing that everything is a conspiracy and the whole world revolves around the destruction of Palestine. Here's a little reality check a lot of people don't think that the Palestinian Problem is the navel of the wolrd (shock to you I am sure), because a Whole Damned Lot of People DO NOT HAVE THE TIME, THEY ARE TOO BUSY WONDERING HOW TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES & WHERE THEIR NEXT MEAL IS COMING FROM, which is their NUMBER ONE priority, this is a fact.

And get a better knowledge of who you are discussing with before assuming that you are the final say on what's right and what is the truth, as their will always be someone who has different sources of information whether you agree with them or not you can learn from them and because the truth is subjective it just depends on whose eye are seeing it.

Ghassan... just like there are these books there are others for just about every issue on earth contradicting them ... I think its high time we stopped blaming everything on the conflict and everything being a consipirasy to destroy palestine and focus on solving the problems. Otherwise we are stuck here with the only solution being the destruction of the Israeli state. Which if you are realistic in ANY way know will not happen unless a nuclear explosion takes place in the region and the whole fertile cresent area starts over again.. and even then who is to garuntee that the same wont happen?!

So get realistic, find alternative solutions for problems instead of blaming everything on the conspiracy theories and not doing anything.

"not everything revolves around Palestine".. of course you would say that! that goes for you too Walid, maybe because I've been reading about the Jewish control over the media, money, politics since I was 11.. for me it a normal known fact, but when you keep watching Jewish owned media and entertainment all your life and hear that the relationship with China is effected by the issue with Palestine, you'll simply call it a conspiracy theory and turn your head away.. I suggest you read more about this, I can suggest you start with a simple book such as "The International Jew The World's Foremost Problem" by Henry Ford (the cars pioneer)... you should find it in the local bookstores.. you can start with that and then you can move to the heavier books, and remember, all of these are well documented facts.. incase you ganna suggest the conspiracy theory again..

China, India & USA are the biggest polluters no doubt about that. China as an emerging financial & Investment power is thumbing its nose at the rest of the world, and it is buying up most of the fossil fuels.

Yes it has a right to develop, but since we are in the 21st century, it should also develop with a more eco-friendly pace and way. That is its burden now.

As for the USA it is unfortunate that a so called enlightened (and I use the word generously here) continent only started implementing "green" rules for industry when they realised the whole world was turning against them and criticising them for being the worst offenders and polluters, which they are. do you want to know why they weren't before now... Look up "Clean air quotas" (this is a quota which each country has to emit polutants withinn a safe range) now USA was buying up the unused quotas from the countries with a low industry sector thus ensuring their low ranking as a pollutant country it worked for a while until the european union started implementing its green laws.

Then Global warming came on the scene, and of course the americans denied the existance of such a thing and countered with their own skewed studies and pulled them self out of the Tokyo agreement, and when Katerina hit them and a few other natural disasters they said whoops, I guess maybe we were wrong, and suddenly they were eco-concerned as they saw glaciers melting away and icebergs melting, and then they realised that a lot of their great cities are near the sea and the levels are on the rise, and guess what... It was a bit to little a bit too late.

As for conspiracy theories, our part of the world sees them in every nook and cranny, we see conspiracies wherever we look. And it is a case of the boy who cried wolf, because when the real one comes along we will not notice it because frankly my dears we stopped giving a damn.

I am not surprised... china is a huge manufacturing giant. That doesnt mean it cant use environmentally friendly practices.

And ghassan... not everything revolves around Palestine.

OK.. I've been doing some debates online about China for a week now, not only because the Olympic Tibet thing, but all of a sudden you find million of group blaming China even for car accidents in other countries.. this is pure political propaganda, and I've seen some of the group creators on Facebook and other media they also supporters for pro-Israeli groups!! they use animal rights, Darfur, Tibet, environment.. etc, to put pressure on China to stop supporting the Palestinians.. we Arab should be smarter then this propaganda.. I'm environmentalist myself, and have been a Greenpeace supporter since I was a little kid in the 80's, but whether the study mentioned is scientifically true or not (and there's always a big chance it's not!).. China has the right to develop it's industry.. and for me that comes first..
