tip I just found that there is someone stealing my software and sells it with a higher price than mine, the funny part is that once he sells it he asks me to do the installation for him, and I do it :)

legal actions in copyright issues are not that easy in Jordan.. not to mention he's in a whole different continent! I don't know the whole picture such as are you a registered company or a freelancer.. but you might be able to turn this to your advantage, I'll explain more when I call you.. take care for now

Honestly I'm not sure what to do, I think I'm too nice to take any legal action :)

I sell this software with a 10 copies license, which means when you purchase my software you're allowed to install it in 10 different sites as long as you own these sites.

well, this guy purchased my software and I know he asked me to install it in more than 10 sites, even worse, these sites were not his own, so I found out that he's selling my software and LOL he doesn't even bother to install it by him self, he calls me and I do the installation for him "for his customer" :)

Ghassan I'm not sure if I got you well, but I developed this software and this guy isn't located in Jordan, he's from US.

Look at this from the bright side, it's a good step, when people from US start to steal software developed by Jordanians :))

it doesn't always work that way.. from experience, he can simply stop doing business with him and find another developer.. I have my own e-solution company for 4 years now and I know how it works in Jordan..

Then you should charge him triple what he got, hit them in the wallet where it hurts.

Well, the obvious question here is.. why you keep doing it.. is it for money?
