tip How do you feel about the news we read everywhere that Israel is celebrating its 60th birthday next week, while this date brings lots of sadness and despair to Palestinians everywhere as it the 60th year since Al Nakba?

Clarification:
Wikipedia: Nakba Day (Arabic: يوم النكبة yawm al-nakba — 15 May) meaning "day of the catastrophe" is a annual day of commemoration for the Palestinian people of their displacement and dispossession as a result of their defeat in the 1948 Palestine war.[1][2] While for Israelis, 1948 war gave them independence and this day represents the "fulfilment of a historic ideal of the Jewish people" to establish a homeland for the Jewish people, for Palestinians the day represents, "the dispossession of hundreds of thousands of their people who were made homeless as Israel was born.[3]

Of course they're gonna celebrate.. what else should they do, feel sorry for us! the think I don't understand that the Palestinians didn't see it coming, I was expecting more events and cultural activities then this.. I went to couple of plays and one movies screening.. but that's it.. I was expecting much more then that, since we have a lot of talented Palestinian ppl..

I have been actually planning for a short movie for this sad occasion.. it kind of late.. but it's better then never.. hopefully I’ll get the chance to finish it by the end of may.. any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm I dont follow the news, I dont read the papers, I dont watch tv and I dont look up the news on teh Internet.

I choose to live in a bubble otherwise I would be angry, outraged, upset most of the time and the injustices happening world wide.
