Well, I would have to disagree with salma, Secularism and Faith can co-exist, secularism is that the country's laws are not connected to religion, but at the same time, each person can have his or her religion!

Faith has nothing to do with being or not being secular... because faith is something you have inside... but if you meant religion that I think it depends on many things... in Islam... the message has a complete set of rules for life... country laws and manners of politics, commerce, social standards and so on... but it has also matter related to faith... which are private and personal... now treating Islam as just a religion or a practice of faith you can have a secular state... but if taking Islam in its totality then you can't separte it...

Depends on faith in what? You can be secular and have faith in yourself, other people i guess but not god of course
