tip Have you ever heard of skepticism? If you have... Do you believe in that philosophical theory, or is it just another conspiracy theory? Do you think that skepticism is against religions, or that those two subjects have nothing to do with each other?

Of course I believe in skepticism, it’s what my whole life is based on, skepticism and paranoia (don’t ask!!). now about the link between religion and skepticism, it can be against or with depending on your own beliefs and/or if you’re welling to take a leap of faith to believe OR not, what I’m trying to say is, there’s 3 types of people:

Type 1:Those who believe through skepticism, those who use skepticism to strengthen their religious views/spirituality, those who question and find answers (OR convince themselves they did) to most/all of their questions, those (although I might disagree with) I respect for the fact that they didn’t follow their religion blindly, however, most of those at one point of their search did take a leap of faith into believing in something fully without finding a good enough answer, but in the end it’s a matter of choice, cuz no one can find a good enough answer to anything.

Type 2:Those who believe in bits and pieces of religions, those who are skeptical of certain aspects of religion but still believe that when it comes to “religion Vs. philosophy” religion is the way to go even if they’re skeptical, and I “think” that most of those will struggle with the concept of religion their whole lives.

Type 3: Sheep!!!, those who will go with the masses, if they’re living in a society that is mostly religious, they’ll be religious, and the min they move to another place they’ll “adopt” and change 180 degrees, those who I envy for their simplicity, those who make me sick xD

And now about religions, most of them accept skepticism as far as it’s supporting their religion, meaning, as long as you’re skeptical of other religions you’re welcomed to our’s, and/or as long as you’re skeptical of things that won’t get u doubting the core of this religion. However, there’s a few religions/cults/philosophical movements that would support skepticism 100%, those are mostly non-Ibrahimic religions (can’t remember what this means in English) and don’t have any benefits from people joining their religion.

I hope I made myself clear, and I hope that I answered your question, although that I feel like I didn’t xD

I think skepticism has no place whithin religion, each one requires blind faith of some sort.

Well.. my question was.. Do you, as an INDIVIDUAL, believe that Sketicism is against religion or not?

"Yep, question everything there is, and everything can be questioned."

I LIKE!!! :P

Well if they believe theirs is the true paths all answers will lead to that? If they dont then ... well keep asking!

Yep, question everything there is, and everything can be questioned. Must think for your self and what you conclude later becomes your own truth. Some scholars or religion keepers are open to skepticism but unfortunately the majority demote it which is sad.

I think it is necessary to question everything.
