Thanks Alma and Razan.

This is very interesting... We have 2 things: The self image and our abilities. If our image matches our abilities, we have a descent self confidence. If our abilities is actually better than what we think of (the self image), we don't have self confidence. If, on the contrary, our image of our abilities is much "bigger" than our abilities, then we are arrogants.

What do you think :)

According to Council Center online, self confidence is “Self-confidence is an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations.”

I would also say that self confidence is ones the ability to admit mistakes, ask questions, and say that she/he does not know an answer to a question.

To me it means, that you believe in yourself, in your abilities, in your knowledge and in control of your insecurities.

Also, self confidence gets built up first within your family, the way we are brought up defines our self confidence in a great deal. Living with an oppressive family can take years to get over.

However, a line should be drawn between self confidence and arrogance; your ability to say with full confidence that you don't know something if you were asked!
