something very important I would like to stress here...

If you are buying a hybrid or electrical car to save on future running costs...  then maybe but there is always a trade off.

However, if you have the environment on your mind as well, then think again...  the making of those cars is costing the environment (carbon foot print) much much more than the ordinary car.
