I realize my response shoudl be a clarification ;)
When someone asks you something and yuo answer without thinking or dont want to say what you are really thinking you have a filler, interesting is the most common one. EG: what did you think of that whole situation? It was interesting.
so that is the adjective aspect.
Other times we just use fillers in our speech words like "like, cool, 3adi. ya3ni..." etc.
there are some we use collectively as a society/ community and others that are specific to us ... which ones are yours?
I always go for a long word that makes a good pause and lul in the conversation thus enabling me to:
1) Run away.
2) Say: "o there's someone I haven't seen in years, catch you later!"
3) Stand there and snicker.
That only happens when I am really bored...
Be Obtuse and vague its fun!
aha thanks for the explanation :) I think I use "wallah?" , "cool" or "interesting" most of the times.
