tip What do you think of the new Nissan Car Ad? Offensive or Inoffensive? The Ad was developed and aired in Israel showing wealthy Gulf Arabs attacking and cursing the car for being fuel efficient. The ad sparked furore amongst Arabs in the Gulf region resulting in a suggestion to boycott Nissan sales. Check out the ad on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rM4tQ2ibEk&feature=related

Maybe it is not Israelis who made it. Also, if you notice the Arabic that is spoken is not from the Gulf it is more far West Asian; Jordan or Palestine.

Money is more important than anything else. Certainly more significant than ideology.

I don't think I am offended by this ad, it just shows the siliness of Israelis who made this ad. I don't like Tida anyway.

Laughter all around friends. If I am to understand the logic of the oil countries well, then they would love for their reserves to last as long as possible, otherwise their power would be over.

Perhaps the ad should be discussed for its strategy to use the anti-Arab sentiments in Israel and to abuse rich oil countries to sell a car, rather than discuss the ridiculousness of the ad itself.

The advert is not well made; it is not attractive, and it does not make me want to buy the Nissan.

What I do not find myself in does not offend me.

I find this VERY offensive, I am too mad to write a full response right now!
