1. Tagging quests enables other users who are interested in those topics get notified when you post a new quest so they can join in and comment on it. More importantly, it enables people to search and find your quest also to engage in conversation.

2. As for having an advanced text editor (wysiwyg editor) is to enable people flexibly in formatting their quests to include video, images, links...etc so as to enrich the conversation same for clarification. However, for the quest it self we kept it simple from the spirit of min-blogging your quests.

3. You are right on the parsing of links, will put it into action ASAP.
