Be more social, I think I am getting there, but in all seriousness I don’t think I want to, as I hate forced situations and I feel like I am always being judged, and what is worse people expect you to judge them too...

i had a very hard time listening to people. Now I actively listen when I want to. I trained myself to focus on what is being said to me.

Its not just about listening its also about being present when I am somewhere and totally engrossed in where I am and what I am doing.

I also stopped or try to stop having the last word and needing/ wanting to be right about everything

Walking in Amman, one is subjected to a lot of wordy crap and uncomfortable looks and a barrage of rubbish.  Years ago I used to feel out of place walking around the city.  Like I was an intruder on their street and that's why they lash out, I wouldn't confront and would avoid.  Then one day I realized that these guys are jerks and it's not their street and they have no right to even glance or utter a syllable to make me uncomfortable.  When they do, I talk back boldly.  If they continue, I just turn around and beat the crap out of them.  It's my street too.
