tip "If it can happen in Sweden, it can happen anywhere!" As said by the narrator of a documentary about the new law in Sweden allowing their government to monitor your online activity and correspondence (and you don’t have to live in Sweden, or anywhere near it, for this to affect you)!

soo ironic to find swedish people reacting so strong to this law, while i know it happens everywhere else in the world without need for a law. i think us and uk do it for sure

this is not surprising and happens world over not just in Sweden. Phones are monitored and certain words trigger alarms. People evesdrop on your conversations, emails, website, internet traffic... nothing is private and if you thought it is well... "All I can say is wake up dorthy you are not in Kanses no more!"

Well, in Jordan wiretapping exists and the gov historically has never admitted that nor seeks permission of anyone.  For as long as I can remember phones have been tapped - without a law, without a warrant.  I was recently told they're doing the same thing with email - I don't know if that's accurate, but I'm wouldn't be surprised.
