These amazing creatures are going extinct. Perhaps it's the human species that should be vanishing instead. The animals seem to be so much more fascinating than us sometimes!

I just came from a trip visiting the largest wild reserve in the Arab world at Sir Bani Yas island off the shores of the UAE. I was expecting to see animals free flowing on 75% of the island instead they were all kept in seemingly small barricaded areas for us "humans" to watch. was more like a big zoo. Nothing like what you see on TV about safaris in Africa. The main endangered animal on the island is the Arabian Oryx.
