Questler is an informal learning network which allows you to learn from others on any topic you have in mind through posting Quests and commenting on them. Quests in Questler are mini-blogs of information categorized into 6 types, Query, Observation, Discovery, Research, Media and Story. Each of those types represents an informal aspect to everyday learning.

Questler is a place for mini-blogging, conversation, discussion, opinions and recommendations from peers rather than experts.

 

By joining Questler, you can create your learning network and post your quests to your learning buddies. You can also follow your learning buddies and comment on their contributions.

 

You can follow them by adding them to your network. You can add individuals by Search, Explore and by inviting them to create accounts on Questler Connect>Connections>Invite People.

 

You can do so by going to Me>Settings>Privacy and check/uncheck if you want people to find you or view your profile.

 

You can choose whom to ask or share with, if you choose Everyone then all the Questler community will be able to post comments. While choosing My Questlers only allows those in your network to post comments.You can further choose other specific filters (filters are a way you can group the people in your network go to Manage Filters)

 

You can always add as many clarifications as you need to by clicking the Clarify link.

 

You can do so by going to Me>Settings>Alerts and check the alerts you want and don't want to receive.

 

You can do so by going to your channel page Me>Channel and filter through all types of contributions you have made, see how many people have viewed them and see all comments posted.

 

You can do so by going to Connect>Connections>People click on that specific user to view their profile; then remove them by clicking on next to the all filters you have placed them in.

 

You can do so by going to Me>Settings>Channel and upload a logo or change the background color of your channel.
